Sad news came this week with our payment checks from the administration of 1001POTS. After 21 years it is no longer going to be held at Kinya Ishakawa's pottery.
Unless someone takes on the responsibility the movement that started with a few potters and a weekend will go by the way.
I had the pleasure of being at the first and only missing on edition of 1001POTS and I give my sincere best wishes to Kinya in his new direction.
We will wait and see who picks up the torch.

I forgot that I listed this information. 1001POTS was restarted and will happen again this year 2010. The direction decided to do it again but at a reduced number of participants.
This year there will be about 75 ceramic artists and potters showing their creations from 16 July to 14 August.
I will be there so if you are in the area please drop by.
